For nearly 50 years, Griffin Log Homes has been rooted in craftsmanship, family, and a deep passion for building more than just homes—we build legacies.

It all began in the late 1970s when Jack Griffin Sr. had a vision: to create custom, high-quality materials for log homes. He began milling logs in Florida, later relocating operations to North Carolina, and eventually returning home to Missouri. His work laid the foundation for thousands of log homes across the country, supplying materials known for their strength, beauty, and authenticity.

In the mid-1990s, Jack Griffin Jr. joined the business, ushering in the second generation of leadership. He transitioned the company from solely producing materials to constructing custom log homes. For more than three decades, Jack Jr. has led projects across the Midwest and beyond—bringing dream homes to life through hands-on expertise and unmatched dedication.

By the mid-2010s, the third generation—Tyler and Zach Griffin, the sons of Jack and Erica—stepped into leadership roles, taking charge of field operations and continuing the family’s legacy with the same grit and commitment that defined those before them. Today, they lead our on-site crews and oversee every detail of the building process, ensuring each home meets the highest standards.

Alongside them, their sister Katie Griffin—the daughter of Jack and Erica—brings a fresh perspective to the business. She leads our marketing efforts and has expanded Griffin Log Homes’ digital presence through strategic branding and social media, helping modernize the company while honoring its roots.

Behind the scenes, Erica Griffin—Jack’s wife and the mother of Tyler, Zach, and Katie—plays an essential role in keeping the business running. She manages financial operations and oversees the office, providing the structure, organization, and heart that keep Griffin Log Homes thriving.

Now, with the fourth generation on the horizon, the future of Griffin Log Homes is in good hands. What began as a simple idea has grown into a legacy of family, tradition, and excellence that’s here to stay.
